Risk Sharing

Depco Drilling is currently undertaking a Risk assessment program to ensure that The Company identifies potential risks both in the field, work shop and office environments.

Equipment Sourcing, financing and ownership

Managing Director Wayne Riddell has analysed most makes of rigs (both domestic and international) over the past 30 years as a driller and has determined that the Australian made UDR rigs are most suited to the Bowen Basin. Depco are concentrating on acquiring the best Australian Built machinery designed for our conditions. The UDR 650 & 1200 ranges are built for the work that Depco are specialising in. The acquisition of the Soilmec from Italy has allowed us to expand our services into the larger diameter drilling ie ventilation shafts.

Working rosters and equipment scheduling

Drill crews work to the fatigue management policy of the client to ensure the most effective utilisation of rigs and crews. There have been instances where break crews have been utilised to provide continuity to the drilling program. Crews are matched to the relevant rig to ensure the most productive output is achieved.

Supply of drilling consumables

Depco drilling only use the most appropriate consumables to ensure that the holes drilled are of the highest quality. We are always on the lookout for new products that will lead to better production and improved efficiency.
